Honesty Pure and Simple.
Words will not be enough to describe the level of service received from John..... I had just come out of an exceptionally bad experience in buying a car, John was very aware of the situation and couldn't do enough to renew my confidence in the industry....... no pressure on the sale and everything that was promised was delivered, pure and simple honesty is the policy here, it was just so refreshing to be treated properly.

I bought my car from East Devon Motor Company just under 6 weeks ago. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. This was my first time buying a second hand car and the guys at East Devon Motor Company couldn't have made the experience any better. I knew I wanted to get a BMW 1 series and so I read a lot of reviews for different car companies who were selling these cars. This company had one of the best reviews online and it has all been proven right. I spoke to Rob (the owner) on the phone to begin with who answered all my questions and even agreed to uphold the 12 month MOT guarantee. I then spoke to John on the phone on the day I planned to go see the car who answered all my other questions and worries that I had before I committed to a 3 hour car drive. Once there, Stephen and John could not have been more helpful. They gave us the time to look over the car but were on hand to answer any questions we had. There was no pushiness from then. Only friendly advice - including which pub to go and grab food from as it ended up being a long day out. I felt confident to buy the car and all was done on the day with complete ease. So far the car has been an absolute dream to drive (I hope that continues). The company is a wonderful family run business and I highly recommend buying a car from here.

John was absolutely amazing with us. I saw the car I purchased on auto trader which is how we came across this company. John shown us the car and gave us space to view and make our own opinion of it but equally was around and approachable to answer our questions when needed. What ever mechanical question we asked if he wasn't 100% sure about he was quick to find out and get the mechanic to check for us and offered to solve any problem before we purchase rather than ignoring the situation like a few dealers at different trade centres we had been to beforehand. (Although I fell in love with the car so just bought and the tiny problem has now gone anyway). John and East devon motors came across very honest, friendly, aproachable and genuine. Im in the first week of owning the car but so far the car sold is what I expected and got me from exeter back to plymouth and around a bit with no issue. I've already been recomending east devon motors to people and am so glad I found them through autotrader!

John was absolutely amazing. I had a bit of an emergency when my car failed its MOT in the morning and I needed a new car asap as my car was going to cost me a lot to repair. He helped me drive away with my new car and took my old one off me within a matter of hours from deciding to get rid of my car. John made the process so easy and relaxed for what would have normally been a really stressful situation. Very thankful!

As hot as the weather
Bought a convertible Mercedes from them wasn't sure about letting my Jaguar go, they allowed me time to think and gave me a great deal, they done the work I wanted done on Mercedes, very happy with the car. Bought extended warranty at great price and again no pressure just piece of mind. When I picked Mercedes up noticed one of wheel centers had come off. John said he would order some new and send to me, which he did very happy all round great garage with lots of cars and no pressure fab. And to make it even better the weather at the moment roof always down and a smile always on my face
